Women: As women, we look for the "pink" side of life where there is harmony and fulfillment in our expectations of reality. We long to manage our mental and physical challenges, but, we are forced to live in this distracted and disconnect world. Without the time for self-care, we discover angst, depression, anxiety, and inability to manage relationships. This is "The Other Side of Pink". 

My therapeutic model hope to provide you with a window to reality, so that you can find your core self. Once you embrace your authentic self, then we turn our attention to incorporating work-life balance, relationships, and self-care into your daily life. Unfortunately, few of us are taught about self care, the anchor and fundamental principle tied to our core self, and, without these skills, we become tired and numb. Everyday women face the challenge to maintain the daily rhythm at the expense of self-care and authentic living. But we simply cannot continue to overlook our self-care needs--maintaining relationships, managing chronic health issues, or finding intimacy with your partner.

Men: Seeing beyond the male identity created by our society. Tearing down the façade and accepting whatever parts of you are not your true self. Finding the ability to accept all of you, not just your strengths but also your limitations.

Self-Awareness Is The Cornerstone Of Living A True & Connected Life - Discovering your true self, is mental exercise. Sometimes, you get a better workout when you have a trainer in the gym with you. I consider myself the trainer. I bring the exercise plan & encourage you.

The Science Of Psychology Should Be Applied With Compassion & In Trust - My practice is clinical my personality is not. The relationship I develop with my clients is equally as important as the best practices, psychological modalities & principles of neuroscience I apply. I pack a full load of compassion in my professional tool bag. Without it, we cannot develop rapport & trust. Ultimately, trust fuels the most powerful work we will do together.

Wellness Is Physical, Emotional, Intellectual & Spiritual - I believe wellness is the hum of the 4 basic human needs working in alignment with your true self. Wellness is achieved when all 4 elements are playing the same song. I named my practice Village Counseling & Wellness because my goal is to help clients achieve wellness.

Humans Are Inherently Resilient-We Grow When Our Mindset Is Effectively Grounded - There's a disconnect in this technologically connected world. People tend to hide behind facades like perfect, important, smart/ busy. We need to strip away these facades & be more mindful everyday in order to be our best selves. We need to ground ourselves in reality, know our strengths & fuel our fire with self-belief.

*I do offer intensive work for situation crisis or anyone wanting a short-term framework and strategies for grounding. Regarding frequency of sessions those are determined by individual/ couples support needed. My practice is a concierge level which allows flexibility including weekends.
